Miss PRHS 2012 - A Note of Appreciation

Thanks to all of you who supported the Miss PRHS Scholarship Pageant!  The winners and runners up are listed above.  Please congratulate these outstanding young ladies.  They were amazing to work with and great representatives of the school throughout the entire pageant process.  To Deborah Hunter - can't do it without you; to Dean Feldman and Courtney Ondre - nothing but professional, and to Jane Denton - what a GREAT job over the past three years as Pageant Director.

PR Foundation Update

On behalf of the Peachtree Ridge Foundation, I would like to give you some important information. As you know, the PR Foundation was established in order to help provide schools and classrooms in our cluster with supplemental teaching tools such as technology, books and instructional materials. Over the course of 9 years the foundation has awarded the schools over $400,000. We have been able to do so because of the overwhelming support for the events the Foundation has sponsored over the years; The Fling(auction), Flicks, Miss Peachtree Ridge Scholarship Pageant, Lions Classic Golf Tournament and Ridge's Got Talent.

After careful consideration, the PR Foundation Board of Directors has decided to forego events in the coming year, relying on outside donations for the grant process to continue. The Foundation will accept donations via our website (Paypal) and online during registration via www.MyPaymentsPlus.com. Naturally, we will happily take donations anytime!!

We are confident that with continued donations, we will be able to uphold the mission of the PR Foundation by awarding grants to our cluster schools, keeping us competitive and current as we strive for excellence!

Sincerely,

Jane Denton
