Our Mission

The Peachtree Ridge Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in February of 2003 with the following mission statement:

“The mission of the Peachtree Ridge Foundation is to create and maintain a community for the Peachtree Ridge Cluster of Schools in their quest for excellence in academics, arts and athletics, while maintaining excellence and integrity in all endeavors.”

The Peachtree Ridge Cluster of Schools includes one High School, one Middle School, and three Elementary Schools.  They are Peachtree Ridge High School, Richard Hull Middle School, Jackson Elementary School, Mason Elementary School, and Parsons Elementary School.

The Peachtree Ridge Foundation makes grant opportunities available to each of these schools two times each school year.   Each school submits proposals for the projects they need to undertake, along with a proposed budget for the cost of the project.  Members of the Foundation's Board go through a formal review process to decide which projects they will fund.  The next grant submission deadline is September 30, 2009.
